Our Safety Systems are custom made and guarantee that the developed procedures, emergency plans and checklist are in line with the different ship particulars and systems on board the yacht.
We offer a Full Yacht Safety System (commercial registered + 500GT) and a Mini ISM (24 m – under 500 GT). We can also develop safety management system for privately registered yachts.
We offer Safety Management Systems, ranging from our Full Yacht Safety System (commercial registered + 500GT), Mini ISM (24 m – under 500 GT) until Small Yacht Safety System (yachts up to 24 meter).
YMG Secsafe Ltd. ensures that the designated person ashore (DPA), the Master and the crew are given the necessary support to fulfil their duties and responsibilities in accordance with SOLAS, ISM Code and other regulations.
The Designated Person Ashore (DPA) is the key link in the safety chain for ship operations. This person has direct access to top management and has the responsibility and authority for monitoring safety and pollution prevention of each ship in the company’s fleet.
The Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 contains a comprehensive set of global standards of working and living on ships for seafarers. MLC 2006 sets a new format that reflects modern conditions in the industry.
The MLC 2006 establishes minimum requirements for almost all aspects of working conditions for seafarers including conditions of employment, hours of work and rest, accommodation…
A key element of the ISM-code is that both the operating company and the ship's crew provide methods of identifications of risks and establishment of safeguards against the same.
The personal of YMG Secsafe Ltd. will conduct a (initial) risk assessment on board, together with the ship's crew, to establish the hazards that are present at the place of work and then identify the significant risk arising out of the work activity.
We provide independent consultancy services, expert advice and training on safety related matters that affects your yacht. Our team has extended knowledge of the international SOLAS convention, STCW regulations, MLC 2006, LSA Code, FSS Code and other relevant regulations.
